R&D Grant

Ecava is one of the recipients of the MSC Malaysia R&D Grant Scheme (MGS) for year 2008. The MGS grant is a non-repayable grant funded under Nineth Malaysian Plan (9MP).

The focus of the project funded by the MGS grant, is to enhance IntegraXor HMI / SCADA software with several key innovative and state-of-art technologies.

The project has started in January 2008 and shall be completed by end 2008. Ecava will integrate these new technologies into IntegraXorTM in future versions.

Innovation doesn't stop here. Ecava has plans for a few more first in the world features to add into IntegraXorTM software. Ecava hopes to start on these new features as early as possible.

APICTA Award

(October 2006)

Ecava won the prestigious 2006 MSC Asia Pacific ICT Award (APICTA) for Industrial Applications Category. The APICTA is the Malaysian government's effort to recognise creativity, innovation and excellence in Malaysian ICT industry.

Winning this award has further strengthened Ecava's commitment to improve IntegraXor TM and to provide excellent service & support. It also opens doors to various opportunities and government initiatives such as marketing exposure, sponsorship and government grants.

Guests visiting our exhibition booth and enquiring about IntegraXor TM and it's innovative solution. Ecava invented a whole new animation syntax that can be used in HMI/SCADA mimic grahics, it has registered a patent with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

This auspicious award presentation occasion were further graced by the arrival of Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Minister of Education, YB Dato' Sri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein; Minister of Energy, Water and Communications, Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik; Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, YB Dato' Sri Dr. Jamaludin Dato' Mohd Jarjis; Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Mohamed Sidek Hassan.

This is a recognition to outstanding achievements of individuals, students, entrepreneurs, SMEs and organizations with operations in Malaysia who have contributed to the development of the MSC initiatives or in building applications and services for the benefit of Malaysia.
